Loudoun Adult Detention Center

The Loudoun County Adult Detention Center holds people arrested in the county. The Sheriff's Office runs the site under Sheriff Chapman. The ADC houses adults from Loudoun County and the town of Leesburg. Booking, intake, and Loudoun County jail mugshots all happen here. Inmate phones and visit rules are set by the office.

Call the Sheriff's Office for inmate questions or for a copy of a booking record. The office can tell you if a person is in the ADC and what the charge was. State law sets the rules for what info must be shared.

Virginia Code § 2.2-3706 tells the sheriff to release adult arrestee photos taken at intake. The release can only be held back if it would harm an active felony case. State law sets the rules for arrests and the sex offender registry in Virginia. When a summons is used, no booking photo may be taken.
