The Middle River Regional Jail (MRRJ) is at 350 Technology Drive, Staunton, VA 24402. It serves Augusta County, Rockingham County, and the cities of Staunton, Waynesboro, and Harrisonburg. Most Augusta County arrestees are booked here. Call the jail at 540-245-5420 for records and inmate questions.
Records on each inmate are kept under Va. Code § 53.1-116. The file holds the booking date, charge, mugshot, and prints. Staff can confirm if a person is in custody, when they were booked, and what the charge is.
